Text Widget Not Displaying Lists

When using the text widget, I can’t seem to get it to show bullets or numbers when doing bulleted or numbered lists. However, it was working earlier and as soon as i refreshed the page it just quit. the only change I made was the title. I can’t seem to gt it to work… the only plugins relating to widgets I think are “display widgets” and simple page sidebars.. it worked before but now it wont. ive tried deleting the widget from the sidebar and retrying it.. nothing.
