• I am using WP 3.3.1 and Twenty Eleven theme, but recently I noticed I cannot add or modify my Google AdSense code in the text widget. I was able to do it before upgrading to the new version. When I click Save button, the saving icon is just circling but never finish. If I enable accessibility mode and click save button, I get a time out error. Can someone help me here?

    Thanks a lot,

    Jeffrey

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – re-uploading the Twenty Eleven theme

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thank you for your help. However, I have tried everything you listed, but still the same problem.

If you like bit try using WP-Optimize Plugin

But first, clear up your browser cache including cookies. Then login -> deactivate plugins and try accordingly esmi said….

Thank you very much for your reply. I also tried WP-Optimize Plugin, but still no success.

Enabling accessibility mode will give me “The connection was reset” error in FireFox, even with all plugins deactivated.

I’m having a similar problem with text widgets in particular. It seems I can’t put more than one text widget on a page, and even then, it will only work if I also have another widget, like the “pages” widget. I’ve tried dragging and dropping other combinations of widgets, and it doesn’t work. In fact, I get the same saving icon that never finishes.

Using WP 3.3.1 with Artisteer generated theme.

I’ll run through the suggestions above, but I’m wondering if this is a problem in the WP core? Here are the plugins I have enabled, if it’s any help:

    Content Slide Plugin
    Dynamic Content Gallery
    Fast Secure Contact Form
    Google Analytics Dashboard
    Google Analytics for WordPress
    Meteor Slides
    Post Types Order
    Shortcode Exec PHP
    XWidgets
