Text Widget Styling not working

    Hi there,

    the normal Text Widget of Elementor ist not working properly in my site: When I put in some text in the visible text editor and then want to style it, the style (open sans and 20px) is not adapted. So the slider for the font size for example you can slide, but nothing happens.
    Only when I Cut and paste the text into the text edit view, I can adjust the style of the text. But then I can not have breacks wihtin the text. If i click into the site with the text, the style is lost. Why is that so? Whats wrong?

    ich habe Probleme mit dem ganz normalen Text Widget von Elementor. Wenn ich da einen Text eingebe im Texteditor (visuell) und dann auf Style gehe und das ganze in Open Sans typographiere und noch 20px gross mache, wird die Änderung nicht angenommen. Stattdessen muss ich immer erst den Style machen, dann den Text im Text Editor in “Text” eingeben. Erst dann wird der Style angenommen. Dann kann ich den aber mit Umbrüchen nicht mehr durchformatieren. Das geht so in der Praxis nicht.

    Im Elementor Tutorial funktioniert alles super. bei mir leider nicht.

    Was mache ich falsch? Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

    It might be that when you paste in the text you get some hidden CSS and HTML elements inside that interfere with the content. I suggest you paste the text first in Notepad or in the address bar on your browser and then try to copy paste again inside the text area panel on the left.

    Hi Ben,
    I did exactly like you said. Didnt Work. Anyway – as this I couldnt set up some other sites, I quit using elementor. Unfortunately I paid the pro Version. Is there any refund?

    Doesn’t AVADA Theme (the theme you’re using) have its own page builder?

    If copying and Pasting from a Word Document to a Text Widget area – Ensure you’re only pasting text. As Ben has suggested to use NotePad or Enable the Paste as Text [T] from the text widget.
    Better yet, the team behind Elementor have great support – sent a support ticket through the correct channels. (as a Pro User you’ll know how to do this)
    I assure you it’ll be fixed 🙂

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
