using Astra Free Theme v.4.1.5 and Spectra plugin v.2.6.3

not sure whether this is a Spectra plugin or an Astra theme problem (i’ll open a ticket there too), but alignright or alignleft does not work, the paragraph supposed to wrap around the image remains below it.

it’s been already reported here but no solution has been provided yet.

i’d have liked to contact @michoubonn to find out how she managed to get the alignment on her sample page, but the topic has been closed despite no solution was provided (the css @aakash8 suggested led to formatting issues as he mentioned).

i think the issue arises when Image and Text widgets are inside a Container widget: the flex rules of the Container apparently interfere with the float rules…

i managed to get it to work by inserting a “standard” WordPress Columns block, 1-column, inside the Container, then moved floating Image and wrapping Paragraphs in the single column, and the wrapping worked fine.

still, it seems a wacky hack to me, i’d hope you guys could work out a better solution for your Container widget…

    Hi @maxgx,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

In Spectra Text wrapping around the image works outside the container and it is a design decision. However, I am going to add this as feature request. I will surely convey your feedback to our concerned developers. We are always keen to listen to our customers and to receive their feedback. This is the best way to improve our products and services and maintain our client’s satisfaction. 🙂

    Have a nice day!
