    Hi Sebastian, hope you’re doing well.

    Quick question about the Textarea field block.

    Would it be possible to add a live character counter (or alternatively prevent typing beyond the defined limit)?

    Currently, users only get feedback once the limit is exceeded, via the message

    “This field must not exceed 500 characters”

    There’s no indication while typing, and/or users aren’t blocked from entering more characters, which can be a bit confusing for longer messages.

    That’s a good suggestion — adding a live character counter or preventing input beyond the defined limit would definitely improve the user experience. I’ve added it to our internal list of ideas for future improvements.
