• In my opinion, there are some really big issues with the current version:

    1. There are no line numbers (This is essential)
    2. The Save Button is at the very bottom and doesn’t float (With a couple hundred lines of custom CSS, this plugin is far too difficult to work with).
    3. Being that the save button is at the very bottom, the right hand scrollbar disappears far too fast.
    4. Soft wrap the text to the “window width” so that the window width can’t scroll horizontally.

Please note: I believe the Redux framework handles the floating scroll bar out of the box.

If you implement those fixes into this plugin, it would be amazing. Until then, Jetpack’s Custom CSS, Simple Custom CSS, and Theme Junkie Custom CSS are better solutions for my needs.

    Hi Glen

Thanks for the awesome feedback. SiteOrigin CSS is a work in progress, so it’s always great getting this sort of feedback.

    1. This should be fairly easy to add. I’ve logged this for the next update.
    2. Very good point, I’ll do some usability testing with larger CSS files. So far I mainly tested it with CSS that’s covered smaller tweaks.
    3. I’ll cover this with point #2.
    4. I think this would make a good option. I personally prefer horizontal scrolling, but I know a lot of people prefer wrapping.

Thanks for helping us make SiteOrigin CSS a little better every day. I’ve logged all your suggestions in our issue tracker.

    Cheers!

I was going make a support request with exactly the same recommendations – so thanks Glen for being one step ahead.

Hope these changes can happen Greg. As has been said – there’s so much potential in this plugin.

    THANK YOU!
