Hi! I’d like to share this problem with you: the filter set I use on the tour listing page disappears every now and then, without us making any changes or updates to the site. It’s no longer visible on the front end, and even in the back end. The filter set exists, but all the filters have to be added each time, and when I click “Add Filter,” the filter already appears with my settings, except for the title on some filters. Furthermore, if I wanted to change the position of the filters, moving them above or below another, the change wouldn’t save and it reverts to the way it was before… with all the filters but arranged in their own way! What could this be? Thanks! The site is: https://www.greencenter.it/ and one of the pages where the filter is is: https://www.greencenter.it/tour-destination/austria/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @effetiweb

This is quite a weird and unusual behavior. The filters inside the filter set cannot delete themselves, as there is simply no functionality that allows them to do so on their own.

The potential cause of this could be some type of database cleaning or other plugins that perform database optimization by removing filters from the database. This is why, after checking the filter set, there are no filters remaining.

Try fully deleting the plugin via the WP Admin dashboard. This will also delete all created filters and filter sets. Then install the clean plugin and create them from scratch. If the filters continue being deleted, you will need to check the site/server for functionality that automatically checks the database and removes data.

The reason why, after adding the filters (which were deleted), you still see data like the VAR names is that this information is stored in a separate place in the database and is therefore left untouched. During manual filter deletion, if they are the only ones on the site, this data will also be removed, so what we observe is that only the filter data, meaning they were deleted not by the plugin’s functionality.

    Best Regards,
    Victor
