The floatbar position, and thumbnails…

I am experiencing this problem with the anchor span that wp socializer uses to calculate the floatbar offset. When at the beginning of the post there is a thumbnail ,it makes shift the text (obviously) to the right the width of the thumbnail, and here comes the problem:
– In google chrome it seems that the anchor span is placed correctly before the thumbnail, calculating the floatbar offset correctly.
– In firefox and IE the anchor span is placed after the thumbnail, placing the floatbar consequently too far right.

Why is this happening?
