I have the same problem in widgets, only in the latest version of the plugin
same problem for me as well after upgrade.
Hello there all
I’m really sorry for the frustration caused here.
It seems we have a bug with recent versions considering the Forminator Widget you might use in your page builders.
This is already reported and our devs are working on it so they can provide a fix in the upcoming update.
Meanwhile, you can replace the Forminator Widget with a Forminator Shortcode instead via a text element.
Thank you,
Dimitris
Hi Dimitris.
I did that, replaced the widget by a shortcode in a text element. It completely crashed my mobile version. Don’t know why but once Forminator desactivated, everything came back as normal.
I have the same problem, when i tried to add the contact form (using Elementor) it showed a bunch of code instead of the contact form itself, but when i desactivated forminator and used a diferent pluging, everythin went back to normal.
I tried using the shortcode, but the display of the form was very poor…
Is it not compatible with free elemntor now?
Hi @20v100 & @zilviian
Sorry to hear you are having this issue.
Let me explain this problem.
The Elementor doesn’t have a special widget for Forminator, it uses the WordPress > Classic Widgets which is becoming a legacy feature in WordPress as it now has the block widgets.
However, we already let our developers know the classic widget is having this issue and soon we will release a fix.
About it breaking when switching to shortcode it shouldn’t happen, both ways, classic and the shortcode will render the same code on the front end so the only difference would be on Editing the page.
If it caused issues could you open a new ticket and we can take a look? We check the cases on different tickets so we don’t spam the thread starter.
Best Regards

Hello @billalben ,
This issue will be fixed in 1.15.8 version of the plugin and it should be released this month.
