Hi @meintobi
I’m glad you reached out. I’d be happy to help.
I couldn’t replicate the issue on my end, and we haven’t received similar reports.
The error indicates that the “get_current_screen()” function has been called, but it’s undefined. This issue typically arises if some of the plugin files are incomplete.
Did you update the plugin recently, or have you enabled automatic updates? If so, there might be an issue with the update process and some of the plugin files are broken or incomplete. Please do the following:
- Create a website backup. If you do not know how to do this, reach out to your hosting provider to help you with it.
- Delete the Kadence Blocks plugin.
- Re-install and activate the plugin again.
Let us know if we can help you further.
Best Regards,
Archita

It is a Bot that’s scan much Files/Directories (i see in the Logs) and then comes this Error 1-3x:
It always Starts with kadence-blocks…
AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/public/plugins/kadence-blocks/includes/settings/class-kadence-blocks-settings.php:515\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(324): Kadence_Blocks_Settings->print_gutenberg_style()\n#1 /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(348): WP_Hook->apply_filters()\n#2 /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action()\n#3 /var/www/vhosts/domain/httpdocs/wp-includes/general-template.php(3050): do_action()\n#4
I have a similiar issue, is there a plugin who can Scam Bots stop?
Hi!
The error is related to a function get_current_screen() which is not available in the context where it’s being called. This function is a part of the WordPress admin screen functions, and it generally isn’t available in contexts where WordPress admin functions are not loaded.
Circling back here to confirm if you can still see these error messages on your logs. Is there any plugins on your website that could view an edit post screen on a specific schedule?
