the plugin crawler doesnt crawl my site, when I start the crawler it stops almost immediately. i have tried it with the crawler’s inbuilt map and my sites sitemap but nothing works. the problem also extend to quic.cloud generating ccss, it doesn’t work either. i have followed a tutorial that says I should clear all ccss in cache to automatically start generating ccss but the last time I tried which was a couple of days ago it only made 21 calculations or so before it stopped.

    Hi,

Could you please go to admin area , left-side bar —> LiteSpeed Cache —> Toolbox —> [6] Debug Settings

    in this page:

set Debug Log to Admin IP Only

add your IP into Admin IPs (you will see your IP below.)

    set Debug Level to Advanced

    save changes.

Now go to [7] Log View, click on admin-bar LiteSpeed Cache —> Purge All

then click button [D] Clear Log , keep this window open, don’t close it nor navigate away from it.

Now ,open a new window, manually start the crawler

once page is loaded/freshed , go back to Log View window and refresh this page, you should see the debug log is showing up.

Then please copy all the text , paste it into https://paste.ubuntu.com/

then post the link it generated for you.

For CCSS, please create a separated topic.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Could you please check the [Map] tab , is the list empty ?

and Did you set custom sitemap URL ?

    Best regards,

yes the list is empty on the map tab.

this http://muzzmusic.com/sitemap_index.xml the custom URL I used for the sitemap URL. its the sitemap URL provided by my SEO plugin, because it has an inbuilt sitemap.

Note: I recently added the sitemap URL only a couple of days ago because I decided to try it out maybe it would bring a different result.

    Hi,

    Please check following things :

    1. In custom sitemap setting , there is a “Drop Domain from Sitemap ” option , set it OFF

    2. Make sure your wordpress setting –> General —> Site URL and home URL both are set to https://

    3. now click “Refresh Crawler Map” button , see if it generates URL list.

    Best regards,

    okay,
i have not made any changes on the crawler tab since yesterday and I have not made the above changes either but on checking the crawler section of the plugin I found https://imgur.com/5ZDxetA so what do you suggest? it seems the crawler began to crawl my site at about 06/20/2020 20:43:12 for 742 seconds and on the map tab it was populated https://imgur.com/rhYMJKy, it seems all this happened about 4 hours ago I think.

So should I go ahead and make the above changes you suggested or let it be?
and does this mean the crawler is working perfectly now?

Edit: I decided to start the crawler manually and it ended abruptly so I turned off the drop domain and start the crawler manually then the sitemap became populated with all other entries in grey except the first entry in blue.
site url is still in http I don’t have enough priority to change it https://imgur.com/oaZIxtQ and I remember I requested my host to change it but they never paid attention

    Hi,

If you have crawler map list coincidences to your URI numbers , then you don’t need to do anything about it.

Yes, that means crawler is working.

    Best regards,
