I am excited to try My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager to replace The Events Calendar on this site. When I try to activate the plugin, I get a warning “The plugin does not have a valid header.” and then the plugin deactivates itself. Any ideas? I am happy to upgrade to the paid version but I wanted to make sure it will work with my site and doesn’t have any conflicts before I do that.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It sounds like you might just have gotten an incomplete install, or something to that effect. That error occurs if WordPress can’t get the plugin information from the header; but I’m really fairly confident that’s not a wide spread problem, or I would have heard about it a lot more frequently.

I suggest deleting the plugin and trying to reinstall.

That worked. Thank you!!! It works perfectly. Most accessible plugin I have seen. Any recommendations for toggle/accordion plugins that work well and are accessible? The ones built into the theme on this site I am managing don’t work on tab. User gets lost when there are links in the description/answer – https://villagetechschools.org/faq/

The best accordion I know of off hand is probably in Kadence Blocks; none of the stand-alone accordion blocks are fully accessible. Full disclosure: I haven’t looked into accordion blocks for a while, so that could have changed.
