And when I click to view certain feeds it doesn’t do anything but on another feed it shows me the xml file.
Hello @woralo,
Strange. We do have some issues in combination with Wordfence, but not a random behavior like you mention. Usually the feeds just don’t generate but fail. This can be solved in three ways:
1: Put the Wordfence Firewall in “Learning mode” by opening the Firewall tab of Wordfence, then select the “All Firewall Options” and select “Learning Mode” under Web Application Firewall Status. After you’ve done this, open our Feed Manager -> Settings page and click the “Clear feed process” button once and then try to regenerate your feeds. Don’t forget to switch the Firewall status back again if everything works again.
2: If that’s not working, you need to select the Tools page of Wordfence and open the “Live Traffic” tab. Select the Filter Traffic option and set it to “Blocked by Firewall”. You will probably see several blocks for a “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php” action. If you open one, you should have the option to WHITELIST PARAM FROM FIREWALL. Select that option, press the “Clear feed process” button on our Settings page again and try generating your feeds again.
3. If that still didn’t work, or if you could not find any blocking by the firewall, open our Settings page again, select the “Disable background processing” and try regenerating your feeds again.
Let me know the results.

I have disabled Wordfence completely, but that still did not fix it.
Right now I have all feeds up and running, with a lot of manual feed processing, but I’m afraid I will run into new problems soon enough. I will keep this updated if this happens.
Can you open a ticket here: https://www.wpmarketingrobot.com/support/ (use a random number as license number)?
Something has to be wrong as this does not reflect normal behavior of our plugin and I can exchange bug fixes easier with you through that ticket system.
Let me know you opened a ticket so I can pick it up myself.
Hello @woralo,
Could you try to update to the 1.12.0 version and check if that works correctly with Wordfence? I found a cause why Wordfence blocks our feed process (it sometimes sees the term “<link>” in the feed header as a XSS vulnerability) and I changed that. So maybe the same thing caused the blocking on your server.
Let me know the result.
Hi @woralo,
Where you able to update to the 1.12.0 version and did that solve the issues with our plugin combined with the Wordfence plugin?
Can we close this ticket?
Hi @woralo,
I hope we were successful in helping you resolve your issue with our Feed Manager plugin! Since we have not heard back from you in the past 2 weeks and we don’t want to leave tickets open forever, I will now be marking this support topic as resolved. However, if we still haven’t resolved your issue please reach out to us as we would be more than happy to further assist you!
Thanks and have a great day!
