Hi , i keep having this error while trying to backup my site.

adding the line:
define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

to the wp-config gives me a 404 error

can you please help me ?

hello, so access wp-cron.php got 404, please help me access the wp-cron.php ( yoursite.com/wp-cron.php) directly in the browser, you also see 404 too?

yes, i also see 404 if i go to http://www.lenotedicasa.it/wp-cron.php …

wow… i’ve tried reinstalling wordpress core files and now it seems it works …

yeah for some reason, maybe your hosting or you accidentally deleted the wp-cron.php(this is core WordPress file), that why all plugins rely on WordPress Cron scheduling system will not working, include BackWPUp ^^
