Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Good news here: TablePress no longer uses Shortcodes as the primary way to insert tables! This way, you won’t have to remember or copy the Shortcode just to insert a table. Instead, when editing a post or page in the WordPress block editor, you can now simply add a “TablePress table” block. Then, in the block’s Settings sidebar, select the table that you want to insert.
Now, of course, Shortcode will still work and are still supported. You could therefore also add a table by using a Shortcode block and manually type in the Shortcode [table id=123 /] with the desired table ID.

Tobias
Hi @jerryjustice,
more news: The Shortcode field is now visible again. The fix for this is now available in TablePress 2.0.1 that I just released. Updating is recommended.
For more details about that release, please see the announcement.
Best wishes,
Tobias
I use plugin Elementor and tablepress seem to be incompatible in wordpress
Hi @jerryjustice,
how do you come to that conclusion? What exactly is not working? Are you seeing any error message? Can you maybe take a screenshot of what you think is wrong (you can create one by pressing “Print” on the keyboard on Windows, or Cmd+Shift+3 on a Mac, and then upload it to a service like https://imgur.com/) and post the link here?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi,
thanks for the screenshots! Can you maybe report this to the Elementor developers? TablePress does not include any code that should reduce the size of other elements.
And does it only look like this when editing the page in Elementor, or also when viewing the actual page?

Tobias
