    The site created with word pres does not work. The instructions that came to the mail were not useful. Perhaps there is a problem with my account. I could not log in with my username and password even to the forum. I received a message that such email and username are not registered. But I still get emails to that email. Please tell me what could be the matter and how to fix it.

    I logged in to the forum under a different email that I used before.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. Hopefully, this will force the default theme to activate and rule out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    ww.wp.xz.cn is entirely separate from your WordPress site. If you’ve never posted to the forums here or contributed to WordPress’s development before, if would make sense that you’d need to register for a new account here first.

    Thanks for the quick reply! There is no way for me to get to the manual site setup. I may indeed have an account problem. I didn’t create a new one to log into the forum. I tried to recover the password, but the system reports that the account with such data does not exist. And I didn’t register a new account on the forum. I just used my old account to log in. I did not write on the forum from it either. But I was able to reset the password to it. I can’t for that account. What could it be?

    So, again, how you log in to ww.wp.xz.cn is not how you log in to your site.

    The two are 100%, always and forever, separate.

    You’ll need to follow the steps I linked to, none of which involve logging in to your site or ww.wp.xz.cn.

    You should access through the FTP or cPanel, and enable the debug on the wp-config.php to see what caused the error.

    I cannot get acces to managing my site. When I was trying to make a connection via File Zilla I got a notice about Error: The command is not supported by this protocol

    Can you access it through the hosting cPanel?

    If you still cannot access through cPanel, you should ask to the hosting provider to reset your hosting password.
