“the_content” error message
-
Hello all, bare with me on this one.
Started to follow this youtube video yesterday, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cbvZf1jIJM&t=1163s. I’ve also installed WordPress in a subdirectory to keep the current website running until it’s finished. I’ve only installed the two recommended plugin’s (Elementor & Ocean Extra(and updated all)). Everything was running ok and I was jumping in & out of Elementor whilst following the video without any issue’s. I’ve then installed one of tylers templates, found how to alter the video (uploaded my own to youtube etc..) but it was when I tried to import an image (into the Media library via Elementor) and the import failed (‘http error’ I think it said) I jumped out of Elementor to import the image again (which worked) but when I tried to edit the page via Elementor again I received the error “sorry the content area was not found on your page” and pointed me to https://docs.elementor.com/article/56-content-area-not-found?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn. From what I read it’s a problem with the theme rather than the plugin? But I don’t understand how to fix it? Can you help, please?
Thank you for reading
