Theme and plugin combination

    Can the plugin work with any theme or does it have to be setup as a different wordpress installation only for the signage purpose?

    Definitely, however, we recommend using it on an empty WordPress installation or on a subdomain. Because for digital signage you do not need the frontend website, and you would like to install plugins so that your actual site is better with the search engines or looks better.
