Are you using the most current version of WP and the theme? Have you modified anything?
Latest version of WP. Freshly installed, all I did so far was install another theme before-hand. I had this problem on another installation and I just took it as a loss and moved on.
Some unidentifiable error occurred during the theme’s upload.
Strange.
That is strange – I just did an install on a test site and had no problems. Were you installing via the Dashboard? Can you install other themes okay? You might also try installing the theme manually http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Using_Themes#Adding_New_Themes_Manually_.28FTP.29
Oh I always install manually.
I should have mentioned that after reuploading the files it had no problems. Funny that this would happen twice in a row on two separate installations.
