I have a similar problem with a theme and can’t figure out why the shortcode works fine in sidebar with html-text widget (!) but not on pages or articles. I know,a theme problem (plugin works with other theme), but maybe you can give me a hint. Thanks in advance!

sorry – from your description I cant really tell what the problem is and as RSW theme is a premium one, I cant have a look by myself. One thing I would advise you: update your WordPress from 3.3.2 to 3.5.2 – perhaps this helps.

Update of WordPress and the theme doesn’t solved the issue. I’ve contacted the theme provider support now.
if I could have a copy of the theme for analysis the issue only on my server, perhaps I could also find out what is causing this…

Issue could be solved by editing the following theme file:
/functions/conditional_scripts.php
and removing line 53
GoogleMapsLoader();
