Theme Conflict with Divi

    I have only upgraded to WP 5 on one site because I wanted to thoroughly test everything to ensure that plugins and themes all “play nicely” with each other before doing the upgrade to 40+ sites. I’m “on hold” with the upgrade to WP 5 because running Updraft Plus (Paid / Premium version) prevents me from being able to run the Divi Theme page / post builder on the admin side of WordPress.

    Could you guys please get together with the development team over at Elegant Themes and figure out why your products are conflicting?

    Sorry I couldn’t follow your company specific protocol. My impression was that the WordPress Community put this particular functionality in place so people could communicate with Plugin Authors – and that’s what this PAYING CUSTOMER was trying to do.

    I could not log in to the PAID account that I DO have with your company (at your site) because it took several HOURS for your reset password email to show up and honestly, when I’m dealing with something – I kind of need to get it dealt with.

    So out of frustration with your company’s refusal to accept incoming communication elsewhere and my inability to log in and get past your “filtering out of the riff-raff”, yes – I DID go public with this issue.

    If this is what it’s like to get help with a non-critical issue, I can hardly wait to see how it goes if I’m dealing with something when a site goes down.

    I’ll have to keep this in mind at renewal time.
