Theme Editor Greys Out, Can’t Edit

    What does it mean when you go into Themes>Editor and the Style.CSS pgae (and every other php or function editor page) quickly turns greyed-out and won’t let you do any edits?

    All other functions and plugins on blog are working fine.
    I tried deactivating all plugins and attempting Editor again, no change.
    I tried activating one or two other themes, but Editor greyed-out on them too, even though everything on the front end looks great

    Any ideas?

    And to make matters even stranger, it’s only doing it on Firefox???
    I’m on a Mac and just for the heck of it, I tried opening my blog in my other browser, Safari. Worked fine, Editor didn’t turn grey, let me edit the CSS, header.php and everything!

    How can this only be a problem for Firefox? (I have latest version.)
