  • First you’ll need to discover where the content you really want to point to resides. Bring it up in your web browser and take the resulting URL from your browser bar into where that broken link is as the correct replacement.

    Hi

Thank you very much for replying

    The content resides at https://www.peterderek.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/luxe-tv.jpg

But I do not see where I can replace this broken link
which is wrong when set to https://www.peterderek.com/portfolio/category-broadcast/
ERROR portfolio.html/category-broadcast/ was not found on this server.

Where do I go in wordpress control panel to alter this link
the image concerned is on the home page only http://www.peterderek.com in a thumbnail

Okay, let me explain it a little more but I can’t help you past a certain point as I can’t see the internal structure of your website.

You have an image in your WordPress media for Lux.TV or something like that. You know that image and it’s URL.

There is a widget or something in what looks like the sidebar or your site… In that widget area is the image link for Lus.TV and that image is a link to the document on your site (outside of WordPress possibly).

I’m hoping you can find that document and bring it up in your web browser then copy the documents URL to your clipboard and navigate to whatever widget or code creates that image with the broken link and then replace that broken link with the code you copied from your web browser.
