Strange I have moved it across to the parent and activate. This is what I now have http://www.breacher18.com the text has reverted back and the white outline around the image has come back.

You should keep changes to the Child Theme, otherwise you’ll lose them once the theme updates.
True I do take back ups though 🙂 any ideas on this now?

Applying the CSS separate to the parent’s theme should resolve this.

Download this CSS Manger plugin and put your CSS changes in the area of the dashboard (allocated from that plugin).
Ill give it ago ill let you know how I get on
Excellent the text is now correct just the white border round the top image, doesn’t make sense.
