Theme (Hatch)

    I am using the Hatch theme for my site. Is there anyway without knowing how to code or paying extra for upgrades etc, to add a Flash widget/player/viewer/slider to my site- and if I can, also add captions to the photos?
    I have tried downloading various image viewers and they come as a zip file. After that I am not sure how to transfer that into a working image viewer- what would I need to do?

    Yes, but I cannot seen ‘plugins’ on my site dashboard and so when I try to download them I don’t know how to implement them into my site.

    Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

    A wordpress.com site, not self-hosted. Would that be it- I’d need to self host it?

    Yep – that’s your problem. You cannot use plugins on a wordpress.com site. I’m sorry but you are also asking questions in the wrong place. These forums are for self-hosted WordPress sites only. Please try asking any future questions on http://en.forums.wordpress.com/
