Theme Instal

I’m having a very basic problem of not being able to install a theme. The theme is called “Anan” that I got from Theme Forest. When I go into the “Install Themes” tab > locate file > instal, it says “sending request” for about 5 minutes then shows me an “Installation Failed” screen and a link to try again. When am I missing here??? The theme file I’m uploading is in “.zip” format as requested.
