Theme Installation Error

    I’ve been trying to get a specific theme to work on my wordpress and it won’t load properly. The theme that is being loaded is dancefloor.

    I had someone take a look at it and they are trying to walk me through their process using their wordpress. They have taken the theme and rearranged the files because they weren’t accessible to upload to wordpress and that was why it wasn’t working for my friend. So he sent me the file again with how it worked for him and it still hasn’t worked for me.

    All that will load are the links and a banner. Nothing else at all.

    He asked me to check the versions of php and mysql because that may have interfered and that completely checked out fine.

    Can anyone help me figure out why in the hell this theme won’t load properly?

    I can’t see main .css file and thats causes an error. Try to re-install your theme (warez?).

    the .css file is in the zip file. So I don’t understand why it isn’t loading.

    This is warez or you buy theme from Gorilla Themes?

    Try this:
    – re-install theme
    – disable all (!) plugins
    – check files/folders permissions

    I did the first 2 steps. Not sure what I’m looking for exactly when checking the files/folder permissions.

    I checked the .css files and this is what’s in there:

    ./js/css_browser_selector.js
    ./js/widget.css
    ./red.css
    ./blue.css
    ./style.css
    ./green.css
    ./gold.css
    ./css
    ./css/slideshow.css
    ./css/facebook.css

    I can also browse through the style sheet.

    The files and folder permissions are set correctly.

    The style.css is not loading.

    This is a pro theme and support should be part of the price you paid.

    Have you contacted the theme’s author?

    This was a warez. I forgot to mention. The style sheet is in the file. It’s just not loading.

    Try buying the theme from the theme’s developers.
