You may be interested in the Churchly child theme for Divi. It supports the Church Content plugin. https://getchurchly.com
The plugin requires a theme that is specifically made for it. You can read about this approach on the plugin details page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/church-theme-content/
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for your reply. But what you are saying is that I need your child theme if I am using Divi, but what I don’t want use your child theme. So why the combination of a child theme?
Since you want to use Divi with the Church Content plugin, the Churchly child theme is a good option. Since the Church Content plugin requires a compatible theme and the makers of Divi have not made Divi compatible, somebody has made Churchly. Churchly is a child theme for Divi that enables you to use the Church Content plugin with Divi. Churchly is a third-party theme, not one of ours.
Yes, so I can only use churchly. That is the problem. I want to use also other themes and that is not possible. Hopefully that will change in the future.
Yes, if you want to use Divi then Churchly is your only option.
It is possible that we may in the future make a totally different plugin that works with any theme but that is not the purpose of Church Content. You can read about it’s purpose and who it is for on the details page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/church-theme-content/
