    Hey guys,

I am building a website and have been recommended wordpress.

I really liked this theme: https://en-au.ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/neve/

And want to use it as it is presented, and go through and adjust the colours/text to fit my brand.

However, when i load it in, it appears nothing like it does from the original? It is completely bare bones with only a header, and then a bunch of random stock images to make up the bulk of the page. I am looking at it scratching my head.

Surely if the template is presented in a certain way (which is why people would choose to download it) – it would present that way when loaded into wordpress?

It seems I have to start from scratch after importing.

I would appreciate any help with this as it is doing my head in. Cheers!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • me too..its so frustrating..im just getting text

Hi, I’m just a volunteer who likes helping in the Neve forums.

It is possible to have the theme presented as it was in that demo.

Here is a GIF that I made that should explain on how to get your site presented in that template:

Also, here’s some text explanation for those who don’t like images and GIFs:

Basically what you have to do is go to the “Neve Options” menu option within the appearance menu in the WordPress admin and from there, select the Starter Sites tab and from there install a plug-in that’s required and then afterward you should be able to import the temple that you that you desire.
