Theme not using the thumbnails it created (Important)

    The theme generates two custom images sizes, but used the full original image size as both thumbnail and single post image. This causes Google Speed Test (SEO) to rank the website 20/100 and further more, creates a lot images that take up space on the server.

    Did anyone find a solution for this?

    Figured it out myself. The theme uses responsive images (srcset). So when I’m on a retina screen it uses the full size images as thumbnails. Not clever, as a retina screen doesn’t mean you have higher bandwidth than normal screens.

    Same goes for mobile. It will use 508 width pictures. That’s crazy big pictures for such a small screen.
