Hi,
Unless you use one of our themes, the plugin will have its own vanilla design, it can’t adapt itself to the theme specific design, unless its author built the templates for it (just like Woo to make an example).
The plugin works best with Elementor and Gutenberg, but you can use its shortcode with any page builder.
To customize its design, you can edit the Page Templates like GD Archives for the post type and category pages, GD Search for search results, GD Archive Item for the cards inside the Archive and Search Pages and GD Details for the single listing page.
We don’t have a tutorial for WP Bakery specifically, but if you check out the many tutorials on our blog, you’ll get a better idea of how it works.
A few examples:
- How to Create a Directory Website with Elementor
- Building a Directory Website with Divi
- Create a Directory Website with the Astra Theme and Spectra Plugin
- Create a Directory Website with the Kadence theme
- Create a Directory Website with the OceanWP Theme
- Creating a Directory Website with the Generatepress Theme
- Creating a Directory Website with the OllieWP Theme
- Creating a Directory Website with the Neve theme and Otter plugin
We have many more. You can find them all here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/category/tutorials/

I hop this helps.

Thank you so much! I went through each link and just feel overwhelmed now…. You guys have such great reviews, but they all talk about the learning curve and it just seems like too much for me. I really don’t like the new block systems but I suppose that at some point I will have to give in and learn one of them. They are just not intuitive to me…. Meanwhile, I am thinking that maybe I should just go with one of the themes that use tools that I am used to and when I have enough money, come back to you and pay for customization to something that I can understand…. Sigh…. Well, I’ll keep chewing on what to do.
