I am creating a theme from scratch and want to include the very good Block Gallery. however when I do this it displays all the images in full size just below each other by default irrespective of the settings of the Block Gallery.

what constraints do I need to set for my theme? do I need to specify specific block CSS? if yes which? is there a default CSS which displays it correctly? or is the crux of the matter somewhere else?

I am guessing this is not only a Block Gallery but a general Gutenberg issue. my theme doesn’t support some of the new features (e. g. the new gallery). how is that possible?

Hi @zaeb, do you have a repo with your theme on it? I’d gladly take a look and se what’s up. There may be an img {width: 100%} issue in the stylesheet, which is overriding your images.
