    I’m not sure if you have read “How do I change the Theme Options (Widgets, Sidebars, Menus, Background, Header, etc.) used for each Theme?” in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/jonradio-multiple-themes/faq/

    It explains where Theme Test Drive and Live Preview are most likely to work. At best though, they are Workarounds. If you cannot make them work for your combination of Themes, I do suggest you use a WordPress Network (Multisite) with a separate Site for each Theme. It takes a little work to get Menus and such working across both sites, but it really is the best solution since WordPress was never designed with Multiple Themes on a Single Site in mind.
