Theme update ETA

    I really like this theme, and want to use it, but many of the features I need are not clickable and described as only available in the updated version.

    I know you guys are busy doing other stuff besides offering great themes for free, so this is not a post to push you or complain.

    My question is this: rather than waiting for the update, if I make a child theme instead, will that still work if I install the updated theme when it comes out?
