Current WordPress theme review system is ineffective. it takes 4-6 months to have your first review and not. Considering the situation WordPress theme review team has devised plan (see – https://make.ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/2016/07/01/theme-review-team-action-plan/)
There’s no mentioning of when it will be fixed. But I just hope this time the review process gets streamlined like plugin review process.
Maybe there are too many submissions for the small volunteer review team?
