Theme version update

    Hi,
    I understood that if I don’t update the version of the theme my website is open to hacks.
    If so, what can I do if I want to avoid the update?

    not all updates are security updates – what theme are you talking about?

    creating and using a child theme is a way to allow updates without interfering with customisations; http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Child_Themes

    Hi,
    I use the twenty10 1.2 and asked to upgrade to 1.3 which I rather not.
