[Theme: Virtue] Theme is broken after update

    I just updated my Virtue theme and it also got broken.
    It shows under my installed themes under Broken Themes with the message:

    “The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
    virtue – Stylesheet is missing.”

    If I try to re-install it, I get the option to update, I get the message:
    “The theme is at the latest version.”
    But the theme is still broken.

    I have luckily not done any customizations yet, but this was the theme I had finally settled on after trying quite a few..

    I am running WordPress on a local server, so I cannot send a link. I am also a beginner with WordPress. Hope you can help. Many thanks.

    Dear Kadence Themes,

    You were right:
    “Alintal, it seems there must have been an error when trying to download the theme from wordpress. It sounds like you need to delete the virtue folder and try again via ftp.

    Please start a new thread and I can assist you there.

    I deleted the Virtue folder, and re-installed the theme in the usual manner. It works again!
    (I haven’t had to update the theme yet, so I’m crossing my fingers.)
