• I’ve installed 0.9.9.9 of WP Super Cache and it is complaining about me missing wp-cron.php. I’ve followed the readme but it’s still not working. I edited my hosts file so that 127.0.0.1 points only to localhost localhost.localdomain and I’ve checked the server logs and do not see mention of it. The wp-cron.php file is currently residing in my wordpress root directory.

Any tips on what might be the cause?

  • It could be anything, a firewall, a .htaccess rule… If you ask your hosting support they should be able to help as this is a serious problem for running a WordPress site.
