Usually updating themes and plugins within wordpress shouldn’t affect your customisation. However if custom changes have been made to the code then you will have to re-adjust them after updating.
Before modifying anything you should do a back-up of your website to be safe. When you decided to update your website to the latest version you can follow the below guides.

I found the problem ! It was the child theme I had and that I didn’t use for customization. I’ve deleted it and everything is Ok now when I update Neve.
