There isn't perrmalink being created for posts?

Hi

I am using WP as a website, with one of the pages as a blog.

I have set up a blog page and this is showing a snippet of our posts just fine, but when you clink the more option to read more of the post it just return you to the route URL (home page).

When I create a new post the permalink always shows the route URL and there doesn’t seem to be a way of giving it a different name? also in the sidebar i have used a recent post widget and this also just links to the home page not the actual post or even the blog page?

Please any advice would be great.
