Hi @praneshmymarket
I have been trying to set up a WooCommerce and I have tried and created a prototype in localhost and it worked fine. But then now when I installed it in live hosting it showed me this error after setting it up. I have used the same theme and data, yet this error is showing up in live admin dashboard
From what I understand, you’re facing a bit of a hiccup with WooCommerce on your live hosting. You’ve done an awesome job setting up a prototype in localhost, but it seems an error pops up when you try to install it on your live host. The error message you’re seeing reads, “There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.”
Let’s try a few things to get this sorted:
- Clear Cache and Cookies: Your browser’s cache and cookies can sometimes be the culprits. Try clearing them and logging in again.
- Review Your Hosting Provider: Make sure your hosting provider is up to par with WooCommerce’s minimum requirements. Here’s a link to the 👉 WooCommerce Server Recommendations.
- Disable Plugins: If you’ve got any plugins installed, disable them one by one. This will help us find out if a plugin is causing the error.
- Switch Themes: Even though you’ve used the same theme as in localhost, let’s try switching to a default WordPress theme temporarily. This can help us see if the theme is causing the issue. Here’s a handy guide on how to test for conflicts: 👉 How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts
- Reinstall WooCommerce: If none of the above steps help, it may be time to reinstall WooCommerce.
📌 Just a quick reminder: Before you make any changes, we strongly recommend that you create a backup of your full site and database. This is a crucial step to ensure that in case anything goes wrong, you can easily restore your site to its previous, functioning state.
If none of these steps work, could you please share your site’s System Status with us? It will give us a better understanding of your site’s setup and help us identify the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
Also, if there are any fatal error logs, please share those with us as well. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
Once you have that, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it and share the link with us.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter. I’m looking forward to your response so we can solve this issue for you.
