Third party cookies error

    Hello,

    I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version and got an includes Third party cookies error.

    On plugin settings, third party cookies is enable and Google Tag Manager script is inserted on the header and body.

    Chrome suggestion is: `updating the attributes of the cookie:
    -> Specify SameSite=None and Secure if the cookie should be sent in cross-site requests. This enables third-party use.
    -> Specify SameSite=Strict or SameSite=Lax if the cookie should not be sent in cross-site requests.

    Not sure how to resolve the issue, any help?

    Hi @jmgd

    Thanks for using our plugins.

    We don’t control the 3rd party cookies that are created by the 3rd party scripts.

    Our plugin just allows your site to ‘execute’ the scripts when user agrees to cookies (or if you enabled cookies by default for all users).

    If some cookie needs different attributes, you might need to check that 3rd party resource for what to do.

    Also, we checked your site and there are a lot of console errors (Chrome browser > Inspect > Console tab).

    We would recommend fixing them as our plugin often doesn’t work properly if there are any issues like these.

    I’ve enabled Third party cookies by default and GTM on header and body. All scripts on the Error-list below are included on GTM, I’m trying to understand why I’m having Third party cookies errors?

    I couldn’t find attribute settings on the plugin?

    Hi @jmgd

    You can always test whether the problem is created by our plugin or the scripts themselves.

    Just remove the scripts from our plugin, hard-code them to your site, disable our plugin in the CMS and check in private browsing window.

    If you see the same errors, then they have nothing to do with our plugin but with the scripts/cookies from 3rd party themselves or with the errors on your site.
