    I gave you 1 star based on the fact that you want me to download an update just to remove the STUPID banner you just created on my Dashboard.

    This is pathetic!!!

    You and your associated must be pretty desperate, and that’s a pity.

    You just lost a possible new customer.. Happy “black Friday sale”, what ever that is…

    Does anybody around here know of a more “professional” plugin that does a similar job without all the extra crap?

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
