    UTMs should never be used internally. Analytics tools start a new session every time a UTM is passed.

    This is why they should be used only for external links incoming to your site.

    The default option on this plug-in (and it shouldn’t even be an option) is to append UTMs to all CTAs.

    Very bad practice. Giving 1 star to warn others.
