This Plugin and The Maintenance plugin is causing errors

When I activate this plugin, the maintenance page does not load. Whenever I deactivate this plugin, the maintenance page loads. It should look like this: (https://ps.w.org/maintenance/assets/screenshot-1.jpg?rev=2162740) but instead is a black page with a white spinning circle.

Specifically, there is some compatibility error between this plugin and the Maintenance plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/maintenance/)
