    thanks for a great plugin. i have a question: is this plugin can stand by its own or it will be better to add some cache plugin or another plugin, and if yes, what another plugin you recommand?

    It goes well along with any cache I think. I have tested it with WP-FFPC and WP Fastest cache in the past, but now I am just using native nginx cache which beats any plugins when it comes to performance.

    but i really need it? doesnt the Autoptimize do some kind of caching?

    I’ve use it with Comet Cache, WP Super Cache, KeyCDN Cache Enabler, Hyper Cache, … 🙂

    Short answer: AO doesn’t do page caching, no.

    Longer answer: AO does cache CSS & JS and will be fast if optimized CSS/ JS from cache can be used, but will cause a slowdown if the CSS/ JS does not exist in cache yet (see this blogpost for more info on how AO works)
