This will clone my podpress?
-
I was wondering because I loved podpress. I dont have to re add artwork and my iTunes feed to it?

This page will help you migrate from podPress to PowerPress, and should answer all your questions.
Yes. At one time we were all using PodPress. PowerPress was designed as an upgrade path to PodPress.
I think Shawn forgot the link: https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/advanced-tools-and-options/migrating-from-podpress-to-powerpress/
Sheesh. Thanks for the save, Angelo. I guess the coffee hadn’t kicked in yet when I posted that yesterday.
The page I linked to explains everything. I can repeat what it says…
The switch is simple…
- Install and enable PowerPress plugin
- Tweak settings in PowerPress (optional)
- Disable PodPress plugin
PowerPress will continue where the PodPress plugin left off by including your previously created episodes in your feeds and Web pages.
Later (such as days or weeks later) if you are happy with the switch you can Migrate episodes from PodPress to PowerPress (this is optional and recommended if you want to edit those previous episodes).
PowerPress does not delete anything PodPress did, so at anytime you can disable PowerPress and re-enable PodPress to return to the episodes as they were.
The only exception is if you are using Category Podcasting in PodPress, the program level settings need to be re-created (episodes, which is the more important data is still included in the switch).
Again, all explained here: https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/advanced-tools-and-options/migrating-from-podpress-to-powerpress/

the only category is podcast
if i migrate to this will my artwork be restored? it stopped displaying after a while when i would had it in a podcast feed software to listen.
After you migrate to PowerPress, if you’re still having trouble with artwork not showing up, go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Artwork and add the links there to your artwork files and click the Save Changes button.
im still not seeing the artwork come up i tried the feedburner and the rss on my site. 🙁
i just saw that it gets artwork from id3. i use audition. how can i add an id3 with the logo for my podcast show it shows up when played?
You can use any id3 editor to add artwork to your media files. The iTunes desktop application can do it. There are others.
Also, if you’re using Feedburner, you will probably need to resync the feed after you’ve migrated everything to PowerPress.

Where is the basic setting page? i wanted to upload the artwork and it says
ATTENTION: You must configure your Blubrry Services in the Blubrry PowerPress > Basic Settings page in order to utilize this feature.
Coverart Image was not uploaded to your Blubrry Services Account. It will NOT be added to your mp3s.atfpodcast, before Shawn sends you down a fox hole that may or may not be correct for your situation, can you reply with the URL to your podcast feed so we can take a look and tell you “Exactly” what is wrong?
Thanks,
