Thoroughly DISGUSTED

I don’t know whether my version of WordPress is 3.8.3 or not, as just about any button I click on the page is thwarted by the following popup (Fatal Error msg.), preventing me from doing ANYTHING:

When I click any of the round red areas in the dashboard, the same Fatal Error message popups. So far, this is futile.
