Three Plugins Incompatibility

    Hi, I’m having troubles after activating FTS plugin, can you help me please?

    I’m using another two plugins in my site:

    Smart Slider 3 (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/smart-slider-3/)
    Beaver Builder (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/beaver-builder-lite-version/)

    They both were working normaly, but after install FTS, the beaver builders’s editor page keeps loading and do not open. If I deactivate FTS or Smart Slider, the Beaver backs to work again. The issue is reproducible only when both plugins are simultaneously activated.

    It’s not mandatory having shortcodes in use, only instaling and activating the plugins is sufficient to reproduce the problem.

    I have the latest version of all three plugins, as well as wordpress.

    Thanks for the detailed info. Makes all the difference in helping out quickly.

    Can you set wp-debug mode to true on your wp-config.php file and see if any errors or notices show up please?

    Hi, thanks for the quick response.

    I added “define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);” to the wp-config.php and restarted the httpd server. No messages were showed.

    If you have an test environement, you could install smart slider and beaver builder and teste the issue by your self.
    If you can’t, then I can ask for permission to provide our test environment to you.

    Before opening this support ticket, I contacted the beaver builder’s developer team and their last answer was this:

    “I’ve had one of our developers take a look and it appears that one of those plugins is printing out HTML on every request which is breaking our AJAX. Therefore, the issue is related to one of those plugins and you will need to contact the plugin authors for assistance.”

    Does the beaver builder work with only our plugin active and not the other one?

    Yes, if only FTS is active beaver builder works normaly.

    @tiagobortolini Sorry for the delay here. I just got done doing a test and I did not encounter any issues, I even did it with a shortcode on the page too. I only had those 3 plugins active as well. We are running on php7.0 though so that could possibly be why. You are running a rather older version of php. Can you upgrade possibly to at least 5.6? You may want to increase the memory too as the beaver builder can use up a lot.

    Hi,
    I have two servers, one is linux with php 5 and the other is an Windows 2012 runnig IIS 8.5 and PHP 7.0.11. They both produce the problem.
    Anyway, I updated php to 5.6.27 at linux server and the problem keeps ocurring.

    PHP Version: 5.6.27
    Web Server Info: Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS)

    Your environment did not reproduce the problem? Is there any configuration different from default?

    It is pretty strange. I did the test using the exact same plugins and theme too, and had no issues with the beaver builder loading. I even had shortcodes on the page.

    The beaver builder developer said something was printing on the page that was causing the problem…. just maybe try going to the Settings page of our plugin and check the option to turn off the menu item in the admin bar.

    Did you try reaching out to the Smart Slider 3 developer? Maybe he has some insight.
