Can I disable the accelleratomter feature?

The theme “Three” is a great theme, but the accelerometer feature, which the author calls “3D-VR” effect. Unfortunately, while this feature is neat at first, it really detracts from the site. When you load the side while holding a tablet or phone (or even my Surface 3) at a typical reading angle, the clouds are displayed as thin slices at a strange angle.

Is there a way to turn this feature off? I still want the moving cloud effects, but don’t want them to change position using the accelerometer.
